About the Artist

Dana Caruso creates quality, unique and intricate artisan jewelry. As she makes all her own pieces, the work is meticulously created with great attention to detail and care. Her creative spirit defines the pieces, which are envisioned and inspired by the subtle hues of nature. Dana is drawn to gemstones and pearls that embody the colors of the ocean, sky and the earth. She adores using mixed metals in her pieces, carefully selecting gems or pearls to enhance the colors, shapes and textures of the jewelry. The client choosing to wear the distinctive adornment will embellish her charm and expressed countenance.

Artists Statement: I have always been inspired and imaginative since I was a child, whether it was sewing recycled jean jackets with rhinestones, designing leather bags or crushing flowers to make perfume. I envision a design and devise a plan to manifest the end project. My jewelry journey began with a class, preceded by some private classes. My passion for knowledge and experience for this medium has mostly been self-taught.

Dana is a SF/Bay Area jewelry designer. She has been creating jewelry for ten years.
